Little Valley Mountain Resort in the Smoky Mountains has more than a dozen pet friendly cabins in Pigeon Forge near Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Most of our pet friendly cabin rentals feature luxury amenities such as hot tubs, fireplaces and spectacular Smoky Mountain views.

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park allows pets in picnic areas, parking areas, and along the park roads but regulations require that your pet must be kept on a leash, which does not exceed 6 feet in length while in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

There are only two trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that you can take your pet. The Gatlinburg Trail, which starts behind the Happy Hiker at the end of River Road in Gatlinburg and goes to the Sugar Lands Visitor Center and the Oconaluftee River Trail in Cherokee North Carolina. Service animals are allowed all through the park.
